Position OverviewWe are looking for an entrepreneurial and technically grounded EV Product &amp; Business Development Lead to drive the end-to-end development of our Lightweight Electric Truck product line. This role blends product strategy, engineering oversight, and external stakeholder management — with a focus on ensuring the vehicle platform is technically sound, commercially viable, and ready for market deployment. You will work across functions to lead the product lifecycle, while also engaging with OEMs and ecosystem partners to shape long-term platform evolution.Key Responsibilities1. Product &amp; Platform Development • Define and manage the product roadmap for the lightweight electric truck platform, balancing cost, performance, and customer needs. • Lead cross-functional collaboration on system architecture, battery-pack integration, and vehicle functionality. • Coordinate internal design reviews and validation stages to align with technical and regulatory milestones.2. OEM Engagement &amp; Partner Sourcing • Identify and evaluate potential OEMs, vehicle integrators, and component suppliers to support product strategy. • Lead technical and commercial discussions with local and global partners — ensuring alignment with program goals. • Benchmark industry platforms and technologies to inform build-vs-partner decisions.3. Program Execution &amp; Risk Management • Act as the central point of coordination for the product development lifecycle — from concept and prototyping through pilot and go-to-market phases. • Manage product-level KPIs related to cost structure, energy performance, payload capacity, and TCO. • Oversee issue resolution and risk mitigation throughout the development process.4. Position OverviewThe Battery Design Engineer is responsible for ensuring the technical integrity, safety, and cost-effectiveness of battery systems across Electric Vehicle (EV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. This includes pre-sales engineering, design verification, OEM monitoring, operational readiness, and after-sales technical support. The role serves as a key technical auditor and advisor to ensure the execution aligns with strategic business and engineering goals.Key ResponsibilitiesA. EV (Electric Vehicle) Business Support<ul><li>Review, evaluate, and audit OEM battery system designs to ensure compliance with internal standards and safety regulations.</li><li>Support the Head of EV by acting as technical coordinator/project monitor across OEM partnerships, ensuring engineering consistency across product design, integration, and testing.</li><li>Validate design specifications for pack configuration, battery management systems (BMS), and thermal management aligned with intended vehicle use cases.</li><li>Participate in system testing, factory inspections (FAT), and integration assessments pre-delivery.</li><li>Monitor and document OEM compliance with agreed specs and timelines; raise risk flags to the Business Owner.</li></ul>B.
