PT. Hemel Electric

PT Hemel Electric started as a small family-owned business in the seventies, dealing with switches, light bulbs and other electrical components from a humble shop in Surabaya, Indonesia. During the 1980s industrial boom, the business expanded and modified to deal with OEM products, both electrical and electronics. In the year 1988, PT Hemel Electric was offered distributorship by Omron, Japan and officially became the Authorized Distributor of Omron in Indonesia. In the same year, Jakarta became home to our headquarters. PT Hemel Electric has by far the greatest market share in electrical and automation products among the distributors in Indonesia. Sister companies, equipped with full engineering capabilities and technical know-how, were also established in these major cities to better serve our customers in various parts of Indonesia, from after-sales services to specialized engineering services in pneumatic system and automation engineering.
