Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end ICT infrastructure solutions (structured cabling, fiber optic, active networking, data center, access control) based on client requirements and site conditions

• Review consultant and owner specifications, identify gaps, and propose the most suitable technical solution

• Prepare and validate Bill of Quantity (BoQ), technical scope, and cost estimates for each project

• Create solution architecture diagrams and high-level designs (HLD) for proposals and client presentations

• Perform value engineering — reduce project cost without compromising quality or compliance

• Evaluate vendor and product options (Tier 1 brands) and recommend based on spec, budget, and project fit

• Collaborate with the sales team during pre-sales discussions and technical presentations to consultants and owners

• Coordinate with internal project teams to ensure what was designed is executable on-site

• Act as subject matter expert during tender processes, technical clarifications, and client Q&A sessions

Qualifications Required:

• Min. 3 years experience in a Technical Consultant, Pre-Sales Engineer, or Estimator role within ICT infrastructure, ELV, or data center projects

• Hands-on field or commissioning background — must have worked directly with hardware, not just on paper

• Solid understanding of: structured cabling systems (copper & fiber), active networking (LAN/WAN, switch, router, firewall), data center physical infrastructure (rack, PDU, cooling), and access control / IP CCTV systems

• Experienced in preparing BoQ and reviewing technical specifications from consultants (MEP/IT)

• Able to read and interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD 2D or equivalent)

• Comfortable engaging with building consultants, IT consultants, facility managers, and procurement teams

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Informatics, or related field
