Job Title: HR Assistant

Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment & Onboarding

Vetting & Screening: Assist in the thorough background checking of new hires (crucial for financial handling roles).

Job Posting: Manage listings on job boards and filter incoming resumes for teller and security positions.

Coordination: Schedule interviews between candidates and department heads.

Onboarding: Prepare new hire paperwork, explain company policies, and coordinate the initial training schedule.

2. Employee Records & Compliance

Documentation: Maintain organized, confidential digital and physical files for all employees (contracts, IDs, and certifications).

Attendance Tracking: Monitor staff clock-in/out times to ensure punctuality and prepare data for payroll processing.

Leave Management: Process requests for vacation, sick leave, or personal days.

3. Payroll & Benefits Support

Data Entry: Compile monthly hours worked, including overtime or weekend shifts.

Incentive Tracking: Assist in calculating performance-based bonuses or commissions if applicable.

Point of Contact: Act as the first line of response for employee questions regarding pay or company benefits.

4. Workplace Culture & Admin

Policy Updates: Help distribute updated company handbooks or safety protocols.

Employee Welfare: Assist in organizing team-building activities or staff recognition programs.

Office Support: Assist with general administrative tasks as needed to support the management team.

Required Skills & Qualifications Confidentiality: Absolute discretion regarding employee salaries, personal data, and disciplinary actions.

Organization: Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines without losing track of details.

Communication: Clear, empathetic, and professional verbal and written communication.

Basic Math/Logic: Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) for tracking hours and attendance.

Education: A degree or certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
