Backend Developer Internship

Placement : Cilandak, South Jakarta

• Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs. - Design and optimize queries for databases (SQL/NoSQL). - Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code. - Apply basic software engineering practices such as code review, basic testing, and Git flow. - Participate in daily planning and technical discussions with the team. - Assist in identifying and fixing bugs as well as improving system performance.

• Required Qualifications: - Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Project experience (academic/personal) using Node.js. - Good understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, and client-server architecture. - Basic experience with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB). - Familiarity with Git for version control (GitHub/GitLab). - Fast learner, proactive, and able to work well in a team.

• Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): - Experience writing unit tests or API tests for Node.js applications (e.g., using Jest, Mocha, or Postman). - Basic familiarity with Docker. - Understanding of ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) concepts such as Sequelize or TypeORM for Node.js.
