Biology Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and qualified IGCSE Biology Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE Biology curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Biology lessons in accordance with the IGCSE (Cambridge) curriculum.

• Design lesson plans that promote inquiry-based and student-centered learning.

• Assess and report student performance in a timely and constructive manner.

• Prepare students for IGCSE exams, including practical and theoretical components.

• Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular initiatives.

• Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Biology, Science Education, or a closely related field from an accredited university.

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent).

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably at the secondary level and in an international or bilingual school setting.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken (minimum CEFR level B2 or equivalent).

• Demonstrated ability to teach using inquiry-based methods and integrate technology into the classroom
