Job description
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development (BD) Staff to manage and grow our client base in the Medan. This role is responsible for running the BD team, acquiring new clients, and supporting strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a solid background in B2B sales or business development and prior leadership experience.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field.

  2. Willing to work mobile and remotely in Medan Area.

  3. Have an intermediate level of English to be able to communicate well.

  4. Proficiency in local language

  5. Proven experience with minimum 1 years in business development, B2B sales, sales area, customer relationship, or client acquisition, preferably at houseware/home living/FMCG industry

  6. Strong communication, negotiation, and team management skills.

  7. Target-driven, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  8. Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Fulfillment, Finance, and HR.

  9. Have an ability to operate basic Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Target Achievement: drive sales performance to meet and exceed goals, execute sales strategies, and identify and convert new B2B and B2C opportunities.

  2. Business Development & Market Expansion: develop partnerships, explore and secure new business opportunities, and conduct market and competitor research.

  3. Strategic Collaboration: coordinate closely with team to plan and execute programs, work with fulfilment teams and finance teams, represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and partner meetings.

  4. Negotiation & Relationship Management: prepare and deliver impactful business proposals and presentations, negotiate contract terms, build and maintain relationship with partners and stakeholders.

  5. Reporting & Analysis: track and report sales performance, pipeline development, and partnership progress, and provide feedback and insights for product and price improvements.
