Civic Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) for students in Grades 7–9.

• Develop lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the National Curriculum or Kurikulum Merdeka.

• Encourage student understanding of citizenship, ethics, law, democracy, and the values of Pancasila.

• Facilitate discussions and activities that promote civic awareness, tolerance, and national unity.

• Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback on students’ knowledge and moral reasoning.

• Integrate real-world examples and current events into class discussions to enhance relevance.

• Encourage student participation in civic-oriented extracurricular activities or community service.

• Participate in school events, teacher meetings, and professional development programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civic Education, Law, Social Sciences, or Education with a focus on PPKn.

• At least 2 years of teaching experience at the junior high school level.

• Deep understanding of Indonesia’s legal, governmental, and cultural foundations.

• Familiar with the values of Pancasila and current civic issues relevant to youth.

• Able to use ICT tools and digital platforms for teaching and learning.
