Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs in preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and standards.

• Ensure that all ingredients are prepared, portioned, and stored properly.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and mise en place.

• Report any issues related to food quality, equipment malfunction, or stock shortages to the Chef de Partie.

• Ensure proper labeling and rotation of food items (FIFO system).

• Help with receiving and storing food deliveries.

Requirements:

• Basic culinary education or relevant kitchen experience preferred.

• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, safety, and food handling standards.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior staff.

• Good time management and organizational skills.

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
