Guest Relations Officer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Guest Relations Officer role based in Bali. The Guest Relations Officer is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression for every guest and ensuring a smooth dining experience from arrival to departure.

The role involves welcoming and seating guests, managing reservations and waiting lists, responding to guest inquiries, assisting with special requests, and providing information about the restaurant, menu, events, and dining experiences.

Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate reservation and guest information, coordinating group bookings and special occasions, monitoring guest satisfaction, and supporting smooth restaurant operations during service. The Guest Relations Officer represents SMOKEs friendly, relaxed, and energetic hospitality in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Strong guest-facing skills in Guest Relations, Customer Service, and Guest Satisfaction.

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and confident personality.

• Min. 1 year experience in restaurant hosting, reception, reservations, or other Front of House roles.

• Ability to handle reservations, guest inquiries, special requests, waiting lists, and guest feedback professionally.

• Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, or tourism is preferred.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and coordinating with multiple operational teams.

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

• Well-groomed, professional, approachable, and confident when interacting with guests.

• Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
