Responsibilities: Designing IT infrastructure, includes servers, networks, software, and hardware necessary for plant operations. Integrating IT systems with plant operations by working with other departments (engineering, production, maintenance, etc.) to ensure smooth data flow and system compatibility. Cybersecurity by protecting the plant's IT systems from cyber threats and ensuring data security. Troubleshooting and problem-solving by Identifying and resolving IT-related issues that may impact plant operations. Utilizing data analysis and process knowledge to improve plant efficiency and performance. Providing training to plant personnel on the use of IT systems and software. Continuously learning about new IT advancements and how they can be applied to the chlor-alkali industry. Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Communicating effectively with operations, engineering, and other stakeholders. Working with process engineers to understand plant requirements. Collaborating with up and downstream engineering and operations staff. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum 7 years experience in EPC Project Petrochemical or Oil & Gas Has knowledge of industrial automation and control systems: Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and other relevant technologies. Understanding of chemical processes, particularly chlor-alkali manufacturing Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Proven knowledge of network security, data protection, and threat mitigation. Familiarity with tools used in industrial automation and data analysis. Ability to manage IT-related projects from start to finish. Willing to work as contract based (1,5 year), and this position will be placed at site office project.
