Suak Sumatera Resort is a small boutique beachfront resort with only 8 rooms, located in the serene coastal area of South Lampung. Far from the city, surrounded by nature, and just steps away from the beach.

We’re seeking a passionate and versatile Junior Chef to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is not only skilled in the kitchen but also creative, collaborative, and eager to grow alongside our evolving resort brand.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and develop dishes across Indonesian, Western, Chinese, and other international cuisines, using high-quality ingredients (many imported).
  Collaborate with management to craft menus that reflect Suak Sumatera’s authentic yet innovative dining experience.

• Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene

• Manage kitchen inventory and stock efficiently.

• Support and mentor the kitchen team through training and supervision.

• Explore local markets to source fresh ingredients and bring authentic local flavors to every dish.

• Coordinate in-room dining, outdoor/private dining, kitchen operations, and restaurant service, managing multiple tasks seamlessly and efficiently.

What We’re Looking For

• Have strong professional culinary experiences (preferably in hotels, restaurants, or resorts).

• Strong creativity and curiosity to experiment with local ingredients and flavors.

• A team player with leadership potential and a genuine passion for hospitality.

• Positive, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow.

• Willingness to relocate and live on-site in South Lampung.

• High initiative and empathy toward other departments, always ready to lend a hand when needed.

• Experience in bar menu development or management is a plus.
