Maintenance Technician

Position Overview The Maintenance Staff position at OXO Living is responsible for ensuring all property facilities and equipment are properly maintained, functional, and safe. This role is crucial to providing an excellent experience for our residents and maintaining the high standards of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify and address potential issues before they become problems.
Repairs and Maintenance: Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting work.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and resident requests.
Property Upkeep: Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas, grounds, and facilities.
Equipment Management: Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained, stored, and in working condition.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards, building codes, and regulations.
Inventory Management: Monitor and request supplies and materials needed for maintenance operations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.

Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in building maintenance or related field. Technical Skills: Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in a relevant field is preferred. Certifications: Relevant certifications in maintenance, HVAC, electrical work, or plumbing are a plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions. Availability: Willingness to be on call for emergency situations and work flexible hours when needed.
