About the role

PT. BERKAH GIAT JAYA is seeking a talented and motivated Collection Assistant Manager (Mandarin Speaker) to join our dynamic team in Tangerang, Banten. This is a contract position where you will play a crucial role in managing the collection process and ensuring effective recovery of outstanding payments. Your proficiency in Mandarin will be a key asset in this role.

What you'll be doing

Provide accurate and timely translation of documents, emails, and other materials especially in Mandarin

Support the Collection team by assisting with communication, negotiation, and resolution of collection cases

Collaborate with the Collection team to develop and implement strategies for improving collection rates

Maintain detailed records and provide regular reports on translation activities and collection progress

Assist with training and development of team members on Mandarin-related communication and collection best practices

What we're looking for

Fluency in Mandarin with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial, collection and/or customer service industry (fresh graduate are welcome)

Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle sensitive collection-related conversations

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation

Proficient in the use of relevant software and technology tools for translation, data management, and reporting

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide support to team members
