Job Description:

The HighScope Preschool Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate, child-centered learning program based on the HighScope educational approach. The teacher supports children’s active learning through intentional interactions, a consistent daily routine, and meaningful assessment practices, while creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
Strong understanding of child development (ages 2–6).
Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
Warm, patient, and nurturing personality with a passion for early childhood education

Weikart in 1962, and it has been applied in may schools in the U.S. With the objective to improve the Indonesian Educational system, HighScope Indonesia was established in 1996 by the opening of an Early Childhood Educational Program in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta. Since then, parent’s satisfaction with the developmental progress of their children has resulted in the opening of several other schools, and one of them is in Bandung.
