Site Engineer (Piping & Compressor)

Job Opening: Site Engineer (Piping & Compressor) - Indonesia We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Site Engineer specializing in Piping and Compressor Systems to join our growing team in Indonesia. This role requires frequent travel to various project sites across the archipelago, ensuring the highest standards of installation, commissioning, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• As a Site Engineer, you will be the technical lead on-site, managing all aspects related to piping and compressor installations. Your main duties will include:

• Site Supervision & Management: Oversee the day-to-day on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of industrial piping systems (including process, utility, and high-pressure lines) and air/gas compressor packages.

• Quality Assurance & Control: Conduct stringent quality checks and inspections in accordance with project specifications, international codes (e.g., ASME, API), and local Indonesian regulations.

• Technical Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact between the project management team, contractors, vendors, and clients on-site. Resolve technical issues and field discrepancies promptly.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all site activities strictly adhere to company and client HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies. Promote a culture of safety across all operations.

• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress against the schedule, prepare detailed daily/weekly progress reports, and document all installation and testing activities (e.g., weld maps, hydrotest reports).

• Documentation & Handover: Manage project documentation, perform final inspections, and coordinate the successful handover of installed systems to the client.

• Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Site Engineer, Field Engineer, or Construction Supervisor
