Special Education Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement personalized Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Assess student needs and create tailored learning strategies

• Adapt curriculum to individual learning styles and challenges

• Track and document student progress against IEP goals

• Utilize assistive technologies and modified instructional techniques

• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support professionals

• Ensure compliance with special education regulations

• Support students' academic, social, and emotional development

• Facilitate inclusive learning environments

• Conduct regular progress reviews and update intervention plans

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, or similar.

• Comprehensive understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Proficiency in adaptive teaching strategies and assistive technologies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to develop personalized learning plans

• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations

• Emotional resilience and patience

• Commitment to inclusive and supportive learning environments

• Technological competence in educational software and assessment tools

• Willingness to participate in continuous professional development
