Job Description: The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and supporting daily kitchen operations. This role is essential in ensuring that the kitchen environment remains safe, organized, and ready for food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities: 
• Wash and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and tableware (e.g., plates, pans, cutlery) 
• Clean kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and garbage bins, according to hygiene standards 
• Handle waste disposal properly and ensure garbage is regularly emptied 
• Organize and store kitchen tools and equipment in designated areas 
• Support the kitchen team during food preparation or busy hours if needed
• Ensure the kitchen and dishwashing area are always clean and functional 
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures at all times 
• Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies when deliveries arrive 
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and clean operations

Requirements: 
• Minimum education:Senior High School (SMA/SMK) 
• Experience as a steward or kitchen cleaning staff is a plus 
• Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and cleanly under pressure 
• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices 
• Honest, responsible, and disciplined 
• Able to work in a team and follow instructions well 
• Willing to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays
