- Designing and creating IT solutions that meet the needs of the organization - Working closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure that the architecture is implemented correctly - Setting technical standards and ensuring adherence to them for product development and company operations - Translating business requirements into systems qualities and then into repeatable design strategies and patterns - Identifying, analyzing and resolving system design weaknesses - Architect technical solutions that align with business goals, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and maintainable on-premise - Design and plan the deployment of servers, storage, networking, and security systems - Ensure smooth integration between various internal systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, databases) - Design systems with appropriate access controls, data protection, and regulatory compliance - Monitor and tune systems for performance and efficiency - Work with stakeholders (developers, sysadmins, business leaders) to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with requirements - Maintain detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams, policies, and standards
