Technical Drafter

Serata Engineering (serata.co.id) is looking for a Technical Drafter. The Technical Drafter will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed technical drawings in marine components, propulsion systems, and diesel engines/genset to support the Engineering, Mechanical, and Project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Create and revise technical drawings (2D/3D) for mechanical components, marine systems, and genset installations

• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings according to project specifications

• Coordinate with Engineering, Mechanics, and Project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and feasibility

• Update drawings based on site conditions and project changes

• Organize and maintain technical drawing documentation and archives

• Ensure all drawings comply with engineering standards, tolerances, and safety requirements

• Provide technical drawing support for production, installation, and commissioning processes

Qualifications:

• Minimum D3 or S1  in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Marine Engineering, or related fields

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Technical Drafter (experience in marine, diesel engine, or manufacturing industries is preferred)

• Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory); SolidWorks or Inventor is an advantage

• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, tolerances, and technical symbols

• Able to read and interpret technical specifications and project requirements

• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and systematic in managing drawing files

• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
