Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets in the recycled plastics segment.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with manufacturers, packaging companies, compounders, and plastic product producers.

• Maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

• Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules.

• Provide accurate sales forecasting and market intelligence to support production planning and business development.

• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

• Attend trade shows, recycling expos, and industry networking events to promote the brand and generate leads.

• Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates for senior management.

• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and regulatory developments affecting the plastic recycling industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field

• 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in plastics, recycling, or manufacturing industries.

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

• Strong knowledge of recycled plastic materials and market applications.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Willingness to travel as required.
