Finance Data Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Data Analyst Intern to help manage and analyze financial and operational data for our APAC region. This internship is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn how financial insights drive business performance. Over the course of 3 months, you will gain exposure to financial reporting, profitability tracking, and data-driven decision support at a regional level. Interns who demonstrate strong performance and growth potential may be considered for future opportunities within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, validate, and organize large datasets to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.

• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports that help track performance, costs, and profitability trends.

• Support senior finance leaders by providing accurate, timely data and insights for decision-making.

• Perform basic financial and profitability analyses to support regional reviews and planning.

• Handle manual data processing tasks where needed to maintain structured, reliable datasets.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• Advanced Excel proficiency (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, charts) with solid analytical skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling large data sets.

• Proactive, steady, and reliable work style; comfortable working with minimal supervision.

• Interest or basic knowledge of financial performance and profitability analysis is a plus.
