As the Operations Manager of Surabaya Branch, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations and growth of PT Sinar Cakra Buana branch in Surabaya, Jawa Timur. This full-time role is responsible for managing all operation aspects of the freight forwarding & trucking business, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
Manage and lead the Surabaya branch team, providing guidance, support and mentorship to drive performance
Develop and implement strategies to grow the freight forwarding & trucking business in the Surabaya region, identifying new market opportunities and expanding the customer base
Oversee all freight forwarding & trucking operations, including shipment planning, cargo handling, and customs clearance to ensure timely and accurate delivery
Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and relevant stakeholders to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Monitor and analyse branch performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards
Collaborate with the wider Sinar Cakra Buana team to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the organisation
What we're looking for
Substantial experience (5+ years) in a freight forwarding, trucking or logistics management role, preferably within the East Region
Strong understanding of the transportation, trucking and logistics industry, including supply chain management, customs regulations, trucking operations and freight forwarding operations
Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating teams to achieve ambitious business goals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Proficient in data analysis and using performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
Adaptable and agile, with the ability to naviga
