Deskripsi Pekerjaan

We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Business Development Associate to expand our client portfolio and strengthen our presence in the Japanese market. The role focuses on building and managing client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and delivering tailored talent solutions to executive-level stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain an active sales pipeline through cold outreach, inbound lead qualification, networking, events, and referrals.

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client pain points (e.g., revenue targets, attrition, succession needs) and align them with our retained or contingent search solutions.

  • Draft and present tailored Statements of Work (SoW), including scope, timeline, fee structure, and service levels, supported by ROI-backed business cases to VP and C-suite stakeholders.

  • Drive sales opportunities from proposal to signed contract, achieving or exceeding quarterly revenue and margin targets.

  • Monitor sector hiring trends, funding rounds, and organizational changes to identify opportunities for timely outreach and position the firm as a trusted advisor.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, including daily updates, pipeline forecasts, and weekly KPI dashboards (calls, demos, contracts, ARR).

Required Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of B2B solution-selling experience, preferably in professional services (executive search, consulting, SaaS, or HR tech).

  • Proven experience working with or handling the Japanese market.

  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to discuss ROI, cost-of-vacancy, and fee structures confidently with C-suite buyers.

  • Proficiency in CRM and sales enablement tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
