- Provide technical direction in the development and implementation of security software. - Design and implement security architectures and solutions for multiple platforms, including cloud infrastructure, containerized environments, and mobile applications. - Conduct threat modeling exercises and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and prioritize security efforts. - Implemented and managed security tools and technologies, including firewalls, IDSs, vulnerability scanners, and SIEMs. - Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents. - Develop and maintain security monitoring and notification systems to detect and respond to security threats. - Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and security standards. - Develop and deliver security awareness training programs to promote a culture of security within the organization. - Mentor and provide direction to the team. Requirements and Skills: - 5+ years' experience in this field, with a proven track record of building and managing security software. - Strong understanding of security principles, best practices, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS). - Proficiency in using security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanners, and SIEMs. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Strong leadership and mentorship skills. - Ability to adapt quickly to new security trends and threats. - Knowledge of dynamic routing such as OSPF and BGP a significant plus. - Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) a plus. - Experience with securing web applications, APIs, and mobile applications a plus. - CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP or related certificates a plus.
