Full Stack Engineer (KLI-83)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices using Spring Boot (Java) and Scala (Finatra) with clean, test-covered code.

• Build and maintain user-facing features using React and TypeScript, integrating with backend APIs for a performant UI experience.

• Deploy and manage services on AWS Kubernetes using Helm charts, ArgoCD for GitOps, and Lens/kubectl for cluster visibility and troubleshooting.

• Own live services by monitoring logs and traces via SigNoz and ClickHouse; triage and resolve production incidents promptly.

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to architect scalable, maintainable full-stack solutions end-to-end.

• Optimize application and infrastructure performance, reliability, and observability across the stack.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, APIs, deployment, and operational processes.

• Communicate effectively across remote, distributed teams and be proactive in learning new technologies and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• 3-5 years professional software engineering experience with both backend and frontend codebases.

• Proficiency in Java with Spring Boot or Scala with Finatra, and willingness to learn the other language.

• Hands-on experience building frontend applications with React and TypeScript.

• Experience working with relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL/document databases (MongoDB).

• Practical exposure to Kubernetes, Helm charts, ArgoCD or similar GitOps/CI-CD tooling, and cluster management tools like Lens or kubectl.

• Familiarity with observability tools (such as SigNoz), log and trace analysis, and message queuing systems like RabbitMQ.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in distributed, microservices architecture environments, with a startup mindset and collaborative work style.
