- Review design drawings to identify potential issues related to project feasibility, scope and budget. Also ensure that the design drawings are practical and can be successfully implemented - Lead and manage all phases of interior design projects, including planning, design development, construction and installation - Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and resource allocation - Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, concerns and feedback - Produce Bill of Quantity for each project - Coordinate and collaborate with architects, contractors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders - Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations and safety standards - Conduct regular site visits to monitor the progress of construction and installation work - Ensure that work on-site aligns with design plans, quality standards and project schedules - Address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction phase and provide effective solutions - Maintain detailed records of site visits, project changes and communicate updates to the project team and clients - Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship and design integrity - Inspect materials, finishes and workmanship to ensure they meet project specification - Lead and support the project team in resolving any discrepancies or issues affecting project quality - Keep clients informed about project progress, addressing their questions and concerns - Provide regular updates and reports on project status, budget and timelines - Monitor project budgets and costs, working to keep projects within budget and proposing strategies to mitigate any cost overruns
