Waiter / Waitress

Job Purpose :

To provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Guest Service

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.

• Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, specials, and promotions.

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.

• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.

• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and overall dining experience.

• Handle guest complaints professionally and report issues to the supervisor if necessary.

2. Table Management

• Set up tables before service (tablecloths, cutlery, glasses, condiments, etc.).

• Clear and reset tables efficiently between guests.

• Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

• Assist in preparing and maintaining mise en place for service operations.

3. Teamwork & Coordination

• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.

• Support colleagues and help maintain smooth service during peak hours.

• Participate in daily briefings and follow supervisor instructions.

4. Compliance & Hygiene

• Follow food safety and hygiene standards according to company and local regulations.

• Maintain personal grooming and appearance in line with company standards.

• Adhere to all company policies and service procedures.

General Requirements :

- At least minimum 1 year experience in reputable restaurant or hospitality industry

- Good team work, positive attitude, creative, confident & outgoing personality

- Excellent communication skills & strong attention to detail

- Good command of English spoken & written

- Well groomed is a must

- Able to join immediately
